Replacement filter for Blueair 501 April 10, 2010

I purchased this filter as a replacement for my Blueair 501. The filters I received did have the additional carbon filter (one side of the filter has a black foam material), despite the product description saying otherwise. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or they just ship whatever is in stock. The filters work as expected.

The air purifier and the filters used in it have helped my daughter remain free of congestion. The purifier covers her entire apartment. When she wakes in the morning she is no longer has the congestion in her lungs that she had before she began to use the Blue Air machine and filters. She is able to breathe much easier. She lives in California. Having pure air to breathe while she is in her apartment has made a huge difference in her health and wellbeing. I don't give praise easy.
